GO TIME is a colaborative and open source organization devoted to encouraging and supporting the creative spirit through open communications, idea sharing and playing with robots!
One resource that has been extreamly value to me has been the 4th floor of the Chattanooga library. This floor contains a host of maker machines including several 3D additive plastic printers and two cutter machines. The library has given the community free access to these, all I had to pay for were the materials. I have spent weeks up on the 4th floor, working through my concepts one part. At the end of my time, I completed 4 different versions on the Go Time Maker Racer. The staff was very friendly and supportive of my efforts, although I may have worn down on there patients with my constant requests for time and occational lack of attention to nessassary procedures. Still, using their facility, I have been able to work through the creative process and created a stable, user friendly version of the Maker Racer. With this model in hand, I will established the fact that my competiton is more than just a dream. It is a workable possibility, one which will offer the community a great benefit.
